This is a step-by-step guide on how to log an LOA on the NCIS Portal. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact an LOA Admin in the NCIS discord for help.

What is LOA?
LOA or Leave of Absence is an employer-authorized period of time during which a member is away from their primary duty. During this time the member retains their status as a worker and all employee-related benefits, except for pay and promotion.

Am I allowed to take an LOA?
Employees ranked Security and above are eligible to request an LOA with a valid reason if they are to be absent for 5 days or more. Members that are part of the Security division will need assistance from higher ranks to log an LOA on Portal on their behalf.

Where to check for the requirements of LOA?

Step 1: Go to the NCIS Portal Main Page (ncisportal.habbobites.com), log in and scroll down the Logs and then click the Leave of Absence Log Tab shown below:

Step 2: Click “Add Leave” to create an LOA Log

Once you are on the Leave of Absence page, Click the “Add Leave” button to create a new LOA log. After that you will be redirected to an LOA form page where you need to fill in the details as shown below:

For the starting date, you need to pick the date you want to start your LOA on and end date to that of which you choose to end your LOA on. Under the “Reason” section, you will need to provide a valid reason for taking an LOA.

Step 3: Click “Add Leave” again to confirm adding the LOA log.

Step 4: After you have finished logging your LOA, the log will turn yellow which means your LOA is pending for the time being and awaiting approval from an LOA Admin. To have the LOA accepted, go to the NCIS Discord server, scroll down to #requests and request for an LOA Admin to approve your LOA. 

Once your LOA begins you should go to the same channel and request for a member of the MOD team to add [LOA] to your name as shown below:

Then you just need to wait for an LOA Admin to react to your post and approve of your LOA.

Once your LOA has ended you are required to ask a MOD to remove all LOA titles/badges from your account on discord and habbo!
