Human Resources

Human Resources plays a key role in developing, reinforcing and changing the culture of an organisation. The members of the Human Resources are responsible for ensuring that each and every member and supporter of the NCIS community feels like they are part of the family. The team consists of people who are always willing to offer a listening ear, a comforting shoulder or good advice when you need someone to share negative feelings or everyday struggles with. The team also handles various employee-related resources on our discord such as compliments, birthdays, suggestions and complaints.


​WHAT IS THE HUMAN RESOURCES TEAM IN CHARGE OF?

  • Welcoming the newly joined members and helping them settle well into the NCIS community.

  • Offering support and guidance to members as well as supporters of NCIS through initiatives such as Mental Health Awareness reach outs.

  • Ensuring that everyone if friendly and kind towards one another.

  • Collecting feedback on the work environment, employee satisfaction, functioning of our Special Units and much more.

  • Operating various employee-related resources on our Discord such as compliments, birthdays, suggestions and complaints.

  • Employee Relations Member

    The main responsibility of Employee Relations members is to help the NCIS community with any situation that may arise, whether it be on a professional or personal level. These members are responsible for checking up on any and all NCIS community members and supporters who may be feeling down based on the weekly Mental Health Awareness announcement. They also have other fun tasks such as conducting Member’s Feedback interviews, Know-Us-Better interviews and replying to #safe-space posts.

  • Humanitarian Affairs

    In every agency, the Humanitarian Affairs team is a crucial mediator between the members and the decision makers. This Subunit provides the members with a few platforms such as Suggestion and Complaint boxes, in which they are able to share what they want from the agency and/or their counterpart members! This team also keeps track of the Birthday wishes and shares the Compliments from one member to another.

  • Senior Member (Invite Only)

    The Senior Members subunit is an invite only section of HR. It consists of experienced members with knowledge of all the different tasks within HR. In addition to being part of Employee Relations, Humanitarian Affairs or both, Senior Members are responsible for introducing new HR members to the unit through a Mentorship Programme. They are also in charge of managing everything regarding #safe-space!
